Las Palomas Plaza – Just west of Geronimo Springs Museum on Main – Formerly known as the Government Spring. Plaza/ fountain designed by Shel Neymark. Description from Shel Neymar’s website: Las Palomas Plaza in Truth or Consequences New Mexico was designed to create a gathering space in the center of town. It is surrounded by the natural flowing hot mineral water of Geronimo Springs. The plaza is entered between two 12″ tall ceramic mountains, symbolizing a place of healing and rejuvenation. Eight benches are placed so people can put their hands or feet in the hot water and contain images relevant to the historical, cultural, and natural features of the area.
